Charlie Sheppard

Charlie Sheppard is the Founder of the Human Presence Institute and President of Sheppard Partners, a leadership consulting firm with over four decades of experience. He has partnered with more than fifty organizations including AstraZeneca, Genentech, Pfizer, and Vertex, helping executives and teams develop the presence, influence, and communication that drive genuine change.
In the 1980s Charlie worked as a trainer alongside John Grinder, co-creator of NLP. His methodology integrates somatic practice, behavioral modeling, and energy awareness to go beyond technique to the deeper states that make leadership real. He is the creator of the Human Presence Experience, a two-day immersive seminar designed to help leaders access authenticity rather than perform it.
He is also a professor of leadership, a published author, and co-founder of Arjuna Therapeutics, which is committed to eliminating cancer as a cause of death. Charlie lives in Marin County, California.
